Terms of Service
Summary
ChatLegend provides a hosted chat network. Server owners run communities; ChatLegend controls hosting, licensing, deployment, and network integrity.
Eligibility & Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
- Minimum age requirements apply. Teen spaces are intended for 13–19; adult spaces require 18+ access.
- You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
We may require age confirmation for access to age-restricted areas.
Acceptable Use
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
- No doxxing or sharing private information (yours or others’).
- No malware, phishing, credential theft, or attempts to bypass security.
- No spamming, flooding, botting, or disruptive automation.
- No illegal content or activity.
Platform & Network Control
- ChatLegend is a hosted platform; you do not receive root/FTP/database access.
- We may change features, layouts, and infrastructure to maintain reliability and security.
- Network-wide rules override server-level rules where conflicts exist.
- Severe incidents may be escalated to global admin handling.
Licensing & Server Slots
- License keys used for the platform or add-ons are centrally managed by ChatLegend.
- Server slots operate exclusively on chatlegend.com infrastructure and connected network.
- License usage is non-transferable and cannot be exported for off-platform use.
This policy helps prevent broken installs, piracy, and incompatible deployments.
Add-Ons & Custom Work
- Add-ons/themes/plugins must be approved for compatibility and installed by ChatLegend.
- Vendor licensing may be non-refundable once purchased.
- Custom work may require deposits and is delivered per agreed scope.
Payments, Refunds, Chargebacks
- Fees may apply for server slots, add-ons, custom development, or premium services.
- Refund eligibility depends on whether third-party licensing has been purchased and work has begun.
- Chargebacks or payment fraud may result in account restrictions or slot suspension.
Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination
- We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts/servers for policy violations or security risk.
- We may act immediately in urgent situations (harm, exploitation, illegal activity, platform compromise).
- Repeat or severe violations may result in permanent removal.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- The service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or outages.
- ChatLegend is not liable for user-generated content or interactions between users.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amounts paid to ChatLegend in the prior 30 days.
