Community Rules
Welcome to ChatLegend.com. To keep our community safe, enjoyable, and respectful for all members, we require all users to follow the rules listed below. By using the platform, you agree to act responsibly and in compliance with these guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity.
Respect All Users
Treat everyone with courtesy. Do not insult, harass, bully, threaten, or target others with hateful behavior. Discrimination, slurs, harassment, or personal attacks of any kind are strictly prohibited. Our goal is to maintain a safe environment for users of all backgrounds.
No Illegal or Harmful Content
Posting illegal, dangerous, or harmful material is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Illegal activities or instructions
• Explicit or abusive content involving minors
• Malware, hacking tools, or harmful downloads
• Doxxing or sharing private information
• Promotion of self-harm or violence
We cooperate with law enforcement when required.
Keep Chats Clean
Do not post excessively vulgar, sexual, graphic, or disturbing content in public rooms. Some rooms may have specific restrictions or age requirements—please respect room guidelines and keep content appropriate for the space you are in.
No Spamming or Flooding
Avoid repeated messages, excessive emojis, advertising, server invites, or any form of spam. Flooding the chat, disrupting conversations, or intentionally lagging rooms will lead to moderation action.
No Impersonation
You may not impersonate other users, staff members, moderators, or official ChatLegend entities. Using misleading names, fake badges, or attempting to deceive others is prohibited.
Protect Your Privacy
For your safety, avoid sharing sensitive information such as your address, phone number, personal photos, financial information, or private account details. Never pressure other users into revealing personal data.
Follow Staff Instructions
Moderators and administrators have the authority to enforce rules, remove harmful content, issue warnings, and apply penalties. Users are expected to comply with staff decisions. Appeals can be directed to support if you believe a mistake was made.
No Exploits or System Abuse
Do not attempt to hack, exploit, or manipulate the platform. This includes:
• Bypassing bans or filters
• Using bots/scripts without approval
• Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities
• Attempting to access restricted areas
Report issues to staff immediately if discovered.
Room-Specific Rules
Individual rooms may have additional rules or themes. Users must follow the posted guidelines for each room, including age limits, topic restrictions, and content expectations.
User Content Responsibility
You are responsible for everything you post. Messages, images, and uploads must follow community rules and applicable laws. Content that violates these standards may be edited or removed at our discretion.
Penalties & Enforcement
ChatLegend may issue disciplinary actions for rule violations, including:
• Chat mutes
• Temporary bans
• Removal of privileges
• Permanent account termination
• IP bans for severe offenses
Severity is determined on a case-by-case basis by our moderation staff.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these rules, please use the reporting tools or contact moderation staff directly. Providing screenshots, usernames, and timestamps helps us act quickly and fairly.
Updates to Rules
These community rules may be updated as the platform evolves. It is your responsibility to review changes regularly. Continued use of ChatLegend after updates signifies acceptance of the latest version.
